Thinking of getting hubby an eReader for christmas but have heard that some purchased in Canada don't work in the US. We travel to florida. Any suggestions?

this link might answer your questions. I bought the basic smallest black and white Kindle and love it. Lightweight and easy to use. Didn't want or need all the fancy color and capabilities. I bought a leather cover that opens all the way back and snaps and it feels like reading any paperback book.
