Estes Park via 34 or 36?
The recent Denver thread got me thinking about the drive up to Estes Park. Both 34 and 36 appear to be about the same distance so the question is; is one an "easier" pull than the other? We're in a 32...

I was leaning towards 34 but that was just based on Google Earth images.

34 should be open after Memorial Day - but I'd Check to be sure.
36 is open and will be the heavier used of the two.
You could come up from the South on RT 40 or RT 9 to Grand Lake and enter on the West side - BUT - also need to check to be sure Trail Ridge is OPEN.
