Mar 07, 2017We are NEXUS card holders which pre-clears us for immigration. We cross back and forth 20-30 times per year. We sometimes see the same agents that we have crossed with in the past. We have been doing this for many years.
Even with our frequent crossings, our number still comes up on occasion for a complete inspection on both sides of the border. I have absolutely no issue with this, it actually provides us with a feeling of security.
I don't know why folks get into such a twist over crossing requirements. We have a very close friend who needed to obtain a US waiver because of an extremely old felony arrest which was successfully resolved. He got he waiver and now he freely crosses without issues,
Just know the rules, take the right steps and the system works fine.
