Take I-24 west from Chattanooga to exit 155. Then take TN-28 north to TN-111. This will avoid going up and over Signal Mountain. Still a good pull up the Cumberland Plateau out of Dunlap TN. And as mentioned above, do not take TN-30 to the north side of the park.
