Family RV road trip- Mount Rushmore/Yellowstone/Grand Teton

Forget Mt. Rushmore. It is an over crowded tourist trap. Very expensive parking ($11), more souvenir shops than a carnival midway, more people pushing and shoving than a city subway at rush hour, and nothing to look at except the majestic mountain top that has been blasted into a not finished carving. The "museum" is small with so few, poorly done displays that it looks like a middle school project. Drive by on the highway, slow down to take a look, and keep moving. You will see all there is to see.
