I only travel thru Seattle on the weekends there and back on I 5. Been doing this every summer for over 57 years as my DW is from Bellingham. Usually no problem unless there is a accident. We leave Bellingham around 5 AM on a sunday and travel to Valley of the Rogue State Park in Oregon on I 5. No problem getting a site on a sunday
