Like many things generally when in Canada it costs us an arm and a leg compared to US side = food, gasoline, ferry crossings! Most RV items, electronics etc we find about 20 to 30% cheaper in the USA over Canada but of course that depends on the exchange rate at the point of purchase.
Canada has, sadly, gone the way of Australia and Gr Britain price wise.
I wonder if the fact that neither country has extricated itself from England completely by revolution (or any other means)somehow plays into this? There really is no reason for Canadian prices to be so much higher.
I have traveled from one end of Canada to the other north and south east and west in years past when the exchange was in our favor and gas was cheaper there. Now it's just not worth it.
