There are some limits on the ferry but they don't really apply to any RVs because of size. Here is a sign, at the ferry crossing in Dawson Town, photo stolen from Sue's web site by unknown person(s). http://suethomas.ca/

Another one of the ferry George Black.

They line you up by type of vehicle, with some having priority on getting across, tankers, govt vehicles, etc.
If a caravan is leaving, it can be a 3 hour wait, but we get there between 7 and 8 AM and seldom have to wait more than for the next ferry.

Here is the ferry loaded and headed across. No backing up involved as it is a double ender.
