Ferry Reservation Question
For travel this summer, how far in advance should we book August southbound ferry reservations to the more popular ports (Juneau, Wrangell, Sitka etc). We'll be in a 27' Class C. Thanks in advance!

- This was about the time we made our reservations two years ago. Got exactly what we wanted and the trip went smoothly. You will really enjoy it. I loved the ferry rides. If you have to make any changes, etc., they will work with you. We added a leg when we were in Alaska and were able to do it. Have fun!

Took the ferry up from Prince Rupert 2 yrs ago. Made reservations about 2 months in advance and availability was limited. - Okey Dokey. Route and timeline planned tonight. Will try to set reservations tomorrow.
- Yes, the sooner, the better. Our reservations for a Prince Rupert departure May 17, 2014 were made in November, 2013. As a result, we found a great schedule with 5 layovers having "civilized" departure and arrival times. None of the 2 AM stuff.
