Most countries have a logical way of numbering addresses, not in Mexico one street can have several blocks under one name and numbers and on the same street a few blocks down a diferent name with different numbers and then some blocks down the same street go back to the first name and pick up the numberers as if the street had never been renamed in the middle and the number you are looking for is now in the new named section and the maps never got updated.
For some reason they add names of presidents in the middle of existing streets or avenues, I buess to keep every one on theire tows, do not ever ask for directions, they give you the local land marks, as if you know what they are talking about.
example:
Go this way and when you reach the deposit go right.
You question? Deposit of what?
Ansser: the beer deposit
So you look for the beer deposit, except that it turns out to be behind the mom and pop corner store, and you continue to be lost.
So use the GPS and be prepared to be lost anyway!
Google satelite maps work a little better, althow I have found a lot of errors on them also.
Good luck!
