Fire Stick In Mexico?

I don't know much about this but I saw it on Amazon and it looked interesting. I don't watch television other than Mexican news local and national and what I get on the internet. We dropped our cable a couple of years ago for lack of interest.

My questions are; is the Fire stick wifi driven?

Would it work in Mexico?

Can you see what shows, movies or programs are available before buying the stick?

I would like to see old television programs from the fifties and sixties. I usually watch them on Youtube but this sounds interesting if I am understanding how it works.

Thanks in advance.

  • It makes a dumb TV almost a smart TV. You need WiFi and it only goes where AMAZON wants you to go. You can watch anything on amazon prime or stuff you put in their cloud.
  • The Amazon Fire TV Stick is in fact WiFi driven. Not really viable for RV use unless you have access to a high bandwidth WiFi source.
