If the border guards deem something as an offensive weapon, such as a billy club or possibly even a baseball bat they will most likely confiscate it.
Just as an aside, if you have ever had a DUI or criminal conviction in the US you may be banned from entering Canada.
But, as an upright and law abiding citizen, you will have no problems.
We go through the same when we go into the US. That's just the way it is.
