From I-40 Flagstaff, take I- 17 south to Exit 298 and take that into Sedona. Don't take I-40 to 89 at Ash Fork into Sedona unless you're really confident on a steep, curvy downhill.
Leaving Sedona go back to I-17 north and pick up 89 north out of Flagstaff. Unless you want to go to Page you could bypass that by taking 89A to Jacob Lake and 67 south to the North Rim of Grand Canyon. You'll have a steep uphill before Jacob Lake. Or take 89 to Page to Kanab, Utah and south to Fredonia, AZ and Jacob Lake.
It's best to call the North Rim about parking your RV while at the hotel. Parking is limited up there. Or...stay at the full hookup campground at Jacob Lake and just drive to the North Rim. Skip the hotel.
From the North Rim to Zion, take 89A through Jacob Lake into Fredonia, AZ. Pick up Hwy 389 west to Colorado City and it becomes Hwy 59 in Utah. A scenic, easy drive. For Zion and full hookups there are plenty of RV parks in Hurricane, Virgin or the best is Springdale, right at the gate to Zion. Springdale is a pleasant little town and the free park shuttle makes stops in town. You'll need to use the shuttle to tour Zion - get on and off at various stops.
Leaving Zion it's a very steep uphill to get out via Hwy 9 and the famous tunnels. If you want a easier route to Bryce, take Hwy 9 west to I-15 north and pick up Hwy 20 east at Circleville, Utah. Don't take Hwy 14 across. You won't like it. Hwy 20 will take you to Hwy 89. Take 89 south through Panguitch to Hwy 12 to Bryce. Stay at Ruby's RV just outside the park entrance. Again, the free park shuttle stops there. There is fuel, laundry and restaurants there, too.
Leaving Bryce continue east on Hwy 12 an absolutely stunning drive. By this time you'll have some mountain driving under your belt so you shouldn't have any problem on this highway. Thousands of RVers drive it each season.
Take 12 to Torrey for RV parks and then tour Capitol Reef Nat'l Park.
Then take 24 east to Hanksville and north to I-70 to 191 for Arches Nat'l Park...plenty of RV parks in Moab for the park.
If you want even more lovely scenery leaving Capitol Reef, take 24 to Hanksville and then 95 to Blanding, Utah, then north on 191 to Moab and Arches Nat'l Park.
Have a great trip. They are all favorites of ours!
