Our present truck towed its first fifth wheel to Yukon in 2007.
Then again in 2008.
And again in 2009.
Yup, 2010 too.
In 2011 the same truck made several trips between Vancouver Island and Yukon hauling a heavily-loaded trailer to move our household goods here.
Then it continued to take us camping in 2012 and 2013, on paved highways and gravel backroads.
In 2014 we look forward to the same truck continuing to pull the fifth wheel or carry the camper we purchased in Yukon.
Truck is 12 years old now and just keeps on pulling and hauling goods over the Alaska Highway. It is in great shape, although a hub seal is leaking this winter.
Fifth wheel is in fine shape too. Although an axle got bent one year when a frost heave jumped out of the middle of nowhere to attack our rig. Some days, plan 4 hours to travel 100 miles, or those same frost heaves might bite you too!
