When I came up in late Sep 2013, the road between destruction bay and the US border patrol was the worst found in the whole trip. Key is to just go slow, and pull over and let others pass. The roads improve drastically once you get into Alaska. There is constant construction, but it's hard for canada to stay on top of all the hazards.
