- jgrimesExplorerThe area around flathead lake has cherry orchards. Us locals look forward to harvest time....tasty eating. I recommend US 93 over 35 if you're towing a rig. 35 is narrow and windy. Pretty easy to hit the berm and perhaps have a trailer wheel go off the pavement. 93 is a very nice road. It is also very scenic.

Having done both ways with a 38' fiver US 3 wins hands down. 35 has narrow lanes at some points and semi traffic that is much more noticeable than on 93. Then you also get into the cluster at Big Fork. If you do 35 during cherry season, you might make up a new vocabulary. Having said all this 35 is a nice drive not towing!
Can you clarify what you mean by cherry season? - bobsallyhExplorer IIHaving done both ways with a 38' fiver US 3 wins hands down. 35 has narrow lanes at some points and semi traffic that is much more noticeable than on 93. - rv2goExplorer III have done 93 several times both ways.
If you do 35, do a trip report. I want to take that route the next time I am that way.
