That would be a doozy of a bike ride! :B

I wonder how some of those local bypasses would work out. I know the "alternate routes" on I-40 through New Mexico get kind of sketchy. Between the construction sites and the occasional wrecks, the two lanes pinch down to one in a couple of spots between Albuquerque and Gallup and you have to get creative to get around them. A friend of mine took a detour recently and ended up on a dirt road for miles (not what he had planned). It turned out to be a good adventure.

YES, If you look you will find that I kept coming back to this post thinking this a simple too simple. But then I said I'll do it for him Lazyboy as I was wondering myself about the roads in Florida after Michael Hurricane went through. So once you select a roadway with Maps. Google you can pick up the man and drop him on any part of the roadway, which I did and Highway-98 in Florida was a mess but looked passable. I do understand some folks not wanting to drive the highways, and that's fine. The bike trails are not as yet being driven by Google camera vehicles "lol" and I use it as a way around highways.

But I'm sure now that I have said NO Google cameras, someone will fix a backpack with a google camera and drive the bike trails HA HA. OH my, what fun for our 18-wheelers friends to ponder over. lol Oh, this is to much fun. Happy you like.
