Florida to Southern New Mexico
I hear that I-10 is horrible, can anyone suggest another route?

Going up to I-20 only adds an hour to the trip vs I-10. Going up to I-40 adds about 5 hours to the trip and that is only if you go all the way to Albuquerque before turning south. If you turn south at Amarillo it adds 4 hrs. Remember at RV speeds secondary roads are just as fast or faster if they are shorter/more direct.
