- Go to Chicken, Alaska for the Chicken Stock music festival. Candy for the kids comes out of a plane front of center stage there.
- Lots of people travel in September and October..don't let me put you off, Mike. You have snow n ice in the south..not like you haven't seen it before. Just that the distance from Alaska to warmer is a long way. Make that a weeks drive and even longer if the cold comes early. What a person does, is button up the RV..drain the lines and tanks, etc. Buy water as needed in jugs and carry on.

Yessss.......this I want to see. You coming out of Alaska anytime after mid-September. You have a lot of miles to run in places where the snow flies early..like in September. It's not the cold..it's the snow. And the cold.

Ok I give--------and I haven't watched the video??- Gary, We’re boondocking now....for another two(2) weeks. 16 F yesterday morning, warm today... but we’re supposed to get (3) days unsettled weather (winter storm warning) and turn cool. Start’n to get just right!!! ;)

How cold did ya say?- For those of us in the different strokes crowd, the weather near Knik and Los Anchorage the past several days has just been fantastic: cool-ish clear days, cooler nights, snow creeping down the mountains.
