It's one thing to WANT to camp in your RV when you WANT to for RECREATION, relaxation, or vacation. Even drive way camping is a lot of fun when you WANT to do it.
Unfortunately, when you are in a position where you MUST, or HAVE TO do it, or you have no other option and you absolutely have no other choice, what was once a joy and pleasure, fun and exciting, can become a real burn-out .... real fast!
I've run into the problem, with a couple "hobbies" in my life, that turned into an "occupation." Once they became a full time experience and there was a need for dependency, I burned out very quick, lost the joy, the zeal, the fun, the excitement, and eventually changed, and never did it again!
I have heard many stories about folks in your exact position who were forced to use their camper for a home (for various reasons), when they were forced into a position they had no other choice. More than one has said, they sold their camper and never wanted to see another one again. Sad, but true!
I certainly hope you can find a way to keep the "joy" using your camper (even during this challenging time), and you still have that "joy" and "passion" for camping and your RV that you did before the fire!
Find a way to keep the 'camper' experience .... even in this cold weather, a positive experience. If you loose the "passion" because you burn out, because it just TOO MUCH right now, that will be a really sad thing.
I hope this experience doesn't change that for you.
Good luck, and visit a lot of family .... anything to get out of the camper as much as possible!
