Great news: William from the Freedom Shores RV park contacted us recently and agreed to cover our damages! Thanks Freedom Shores!

After 9 pages of bad publicity, gnashing of teeth and the crying children, I would think a new thread is in order.
Being buried in this thread does nothing for his RV Park or reputation. Starting a new thread may help the RVers in Mexico understand that, contrary to what was written, things will work out and in a fair way.

We would also like to know if the electricity problems and Freedom Shores have been corrected.

Maybe this will help!

  • I made a lot of the posts in the "9 pages" and most of my posts were to help people to understand how electricity works and what people can do to protect themselves - and what people should be on the lookout for. I mentioned a number of times that this can happen anywhere including in the US - even brought up a place we were staying in California where we did not have enough electricity. This was an effort to educate people about what they can do to avoid having things happening like what happened to the OP. I looked back over the other posts through the pages and most of them were more about electricity with the majority never even mentioning the specific RV park. In my opinion this thread was more about electricity than it was about bad mouthing anyone or any place. Many posters tried to help others to understand the dangers of electricity in RVs in general and not just in Mexico and not just at a specific location. Anyone who took the time to read the posts should have a much better understanding of electricity. Very few of the posts bad mouthed the RV park.

Seems to me, in the long post about this mishap, it was posted that the problem was resolved. Although I am not going to page through the epic novel, I believe I recall the problem was resolved within a day or so.
Good for Freedom Shores! They took a big hit to make things right.

YOU remarked about the resolution being buried deep in an existing thread not allowing the resolution the ability to rise above the negative posts towards Freedom Shores. I assume you wanted only the OP to start a topic about positive news for Freedom Shores.

here is how I see the postings. 8 pages of roasting the RV park but...buried half way down page 9 comes the resolution. Like most people's attention span lasts 9 pages (not), mine included unless it is a well written article. Then add the rants, experts in all of everything, the non-Mexico rvers and the just plain unhappy to the posts... geez.
I am grateful the OP started a new thread to allow people to see that the problem was resolved. That was a very good thing for all that were involved, which includes every business in Mexico.
  • Credit where credit is due indeed. Freedom Shores deserves the good publicity.
