This is the route we take. Avoids a whole lot of messes. It adds mileage, but reduces stress. Not sure how much time you have, but we often stop in College Park MD. That route also takes you by Cabelas in Hamburg, PA. Great place to take a rest. I'd also recommend getting off I95 onto Rt. 17. Saves a chunk and is a fairly easy drive.
