- bukhrnExplorer IIITake I-295 South down to I-95 North ,go about 5 mi North to I- 85 South.
- bukhrnExplorer IIIOther than that would depend on where you are going, if going down to N. Carolina or farther, you could run 95 South down to Emporia and take US 58 across to 85 at South Hill.
- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIII do this pretty often. Easiest is to just take I-95 straight through Richmond. I came through there 2 week ago at 4:30 pm and rolled right through. If you want to take I-295 just past the big bridge get on RT 10 west and its just 3-4mi over to I-95 near Petersburg and the I-85 split. Tell me where you are going and I may be able to do better on down.
- 2_RetiredExplorerthanks.
- buckyExplorer IIAt first I thought the 95/58 might be good. Google maps however says 95/85 by almost 25 minutes from Petersburg to South Hill. For those that haven't traveled that stretch of 85 from the NC border south for a year or 2 the one lane construction zone is blessedly finished.
