Hi. I am receiving the RV at 11am.at Santa fe area LA. My first location is the grand canyon. I saw that its along way drive in one time, considering that we need to purchase food in the Walmart.....

About 30 minutes past Victorville is;
Barstow/Calico KOA
N/B exit 191, Ghost Town Road, left under highway, left at gas station, 1/4 mile to KOA. There are signs.
Lots of stuff to do and the Calico Ghost Town is an okay attraction.

This is the campground and offramp I referenced.The Ghost town road is also shown as the Yermo-Daggett road.
