If you like good baked goods, Wheat Montana just west of Three Forks, MT at mile marker 274 is a good place to stop. Fuel available on both sides of I-90, Pilot on the south side and Sinclair next to the bakery.
RV park behind the bakery and a privatized old KOA south of the Pilot. Boondocking at Pilot also.
Costco in Billings for fuel. Not the easiest to access but it is do able.
