About half way between Topsail and Ft Worth is Vidalia Louisiana across the river from Natchez MS. We like River View RV Park in Vidalia. Right on the MS River with paved walking path along the river. You can watch barges go by. In Natchez is an information center. The cemetery in Natchez is interesting. There is a national cemetery on the bluff overlooking the MS and lots of old Victorian homes. They have night tours of the cemetery with tour guides in period dress. Passport America park with discounts. One of our favorite stops.
We also like Chicot State Park near Villa Platte LA north of Lafayette off I-49. If you like fishing its a nice peaceful park.
