Your FMM is for you. What we are talking about is your TIP; which is for your RV. Something that isn't even needed in Baja.
When you apply for a RV TIP, they will have a personal inventory form for you to fill out. Actually it's more of a checklist than a form. It lists things that are usually found in an RV and you just check boxes and/or put in quantities. It also has an area where you can add stuff that's not already on the form. I just took it a step further and printed out an inventory of everything I have in the coach and attached it to the form. As far as I can tell, no one has ever looked at that list, so it was all for naught.
I also thought that it might be helpful coming back north if the border guards questioned whether or not I had purchased something while in Mexico. Also totally wrong! U.S. customs has never even asked where all the stuff was bought.
Just put a few check marks on the form and call it good.
