Guess that the money for these things has to come from somewhere.
However, and This is sad. SC State Parks, Make NC State Parks look like dumps, and have way better amenities, and locations. As for the roads. You would be hard pressed, on the way to Myrtle Beach, to tell where the road changes from NC to SC. I do believe SC uses a little more gravel.
Of course, One could argue, That SC pays for their roads with traffic ticket money, Especially in McBee
