Gatlinburg tn route
Whats the best route to take comming from central east Illinois to gatlinburg tn... mainly to avoid big mountain pulls..

Correct, but realize that on your return trip you will have to go UP Jellico Mtn at the northern TN portion of I75. Pay attention as you come thru there to see if that's something you want to do on the way home.
