We've never needed AC on any of our trips here. If it is a bit warm, then the Fantastic Fans do the job.
If you do put your fish in a freezer for the drive home, and run a generator to keep the freezer cold while you're driving, then please shut the generator off when you pull into a rest area or day use area.
It's annoying to be lakeside enjoying a break from driving and have someone pull in with a noisy generator running, then they leave it running for the hour they are there. It certainly eliminates the peaceful enjoyment of the landscape.
