Thank you for the replies. We were there the summer of 13 and 15 and it was warm, especially inland off the beach. It seems like 77 there is hotter than 77 in FL! We left the dogs home during those trips. The are Newfoundlands and have much hair, so I do worry about daytime temps if the have to be inside. Although we live in FL, our house stays cool/cold.
