Getting around Houston going west?
On I 10, from LA going W toward San Antonio with truck and trailer. What's the best route for dealing with Houston? Thanks

The advice is correct, just stay on I-10.
We have major accidents all the time. It's a lottery if you'll be impacted, but not enough to worry about. Just enjoy what little scenery there is.
FWIW, Houston has the world's widest highway where a stretch of I-10 is 22 lanes wide.
