I agree with enblethen's route. It really is the shortest and quickest. Hwy 18 can back up bad, I'd avoid it during the rush hours if you can. If you take off about 9-10AM you're probably in a bit of a sweet spot. But if there is an accident then it's a crap-shoot. Try the Waze app on your smart phone, it can d good job of alerting you to traffic back ups and give you alternatives.
Do be aware that Prosser like where I live is heading back to triple diget temps. Are you coming over for the Water Follies?
