Glacier Nat Park of Canada, bears, and group hiking

Also, thanks to cruiserjs -- a comment from a former warden in bear country is a very valuable addition to the conversation! We were certainly not thinking of flouting the rule about four or more in a group -- just wondering how best to manage that, given our semi-senior hiking speed!
