Glacier via Rt. 287
Heading to Glacier from Big Timber MT. Wondering if anyone can tell me about traveling Rt 287 to the park. Questioning the road, elevations and services along that route. Recommendations? TIA

287 is about 70 miles west of Big Timber... a simpler route is to take US191 to Eddie's Corner, then pick up US87 to Great Falls. From there take I-15 or US89 north.
