We have driven the Sun Road a couple of times, we have not visited during the summer when the tours are in service. I love the road. We try to drive through early in the day before the other tourists get up and moving. In Sept we will be going east to west early in the morning and then returning in the afternoon. We know that parking may be limited in the afternoon.
