The longest best preserved stretch of 66 is in AZ from Ash Fork to Topock. About 160 miles or so. The section from Ash Fork to Kingman is an easy nice drive. Theres AM broadcast towers playing old classics to listen to along the way. Grand Canyon Caverns (unrelated to Grand Canyon) is worth a visit. The stretch southwest of Kingman is not an easy drive with an RV. Lots of twists and sharp turns. Its worth a day drive and a stop in Oatman for lunch and to pet the wild burros roaming the streets.
