Gov'nt advisory against non-essential travel to Mexico?

Hi, I got my health insurance today for Mexico and they told me to read the Canadian advisory against travel in some part of Mexico. They say if I go in these regions, I was not covered for insurance....

Why are you asking for an answer in this forum? We are not insurance underwriters. Call the insurance company. NOT THE AGENT. If your insurance is underwritten by Manulife they will refuse coverage of any health incident in those named states. You might also read the policy. I never pay attention to the Gov. travel warnings but I doubt the whole state of Sonora is listed.
