Grapevine/Tehachapi
Planning to leave tomorrow from the Central Valley to Indian Wells (new at the snowbird gig). Snow and high winds are being projected over both these routes. Any suggestions...please!

I've not seen snow stick on the highway during daylight hours at Tehachapi. Winds tomorrow are forecast for 10-15mph which isn't bad at all.
Where are you headed? Would 101 work instead? We often head to Paso Robles area. Have gone 101 or 5/Grapevine or Tehachapi many times each. Recent trips I've preferred the latter to avoid L.A. traffic. 101 is second best but I take highway 126 from 5 to 101.
