GREAT ALASKAN HOLIDAY SPRING ADVENTURE 2013 IOWA/ALASKA

I have not checked into the milepost as yet, bur I have all ready cut out pages
from Woodalls Campground book. Take only pages dealing with trip. Plus Woodalls
is now available on Ipad, if have wifi.

It's great to see ya'll as excited about your trip as we were this time last year! Unless they change things, we've always gotten the Milepost from the previous year. (I suppose they get a bargain that way!) So for our 2010 trip we had a 2009 milepost, and in 2012 we had a 2011 milepost. I tore out all the sections that I knew we wouldn't use in order to save luggage space.

I am going to have curb my reading, wait til Jan-Feb after we get the next packet.

Glad you're a part of the 2013 trip. Last Friday, we moved our 9:35 A.M. orientation to 10:35 A.M. to be with my brother and sister-in-law. Otherwise, we would have been with you.
I agree, Carol's journals are wonderful and provide extremely detailed information that is certainly needed.
We were unable to wait for GAH to send The Milepost, so we went online at Amazon and purchased the 2012 issue for $20.00. We also purchased a 2013 atlas and therefore did not have to pay shipping. My understanding is GAH will send The Milepost after the first of the year and hopefully it will be the 2013 issue.
I have reached out to several other past participants in the Sprng Adventure program and all have been so kind to share their experiences and resources.
