Great Lakes Seaway from Rochester to points east

Question

39' DP towing a Subaru Forester. Looking at going across the top of New York and through Vermont, across New Hampshire &amp; into Maine. Have about two days for causal travel in mind. How's the route?

37 isn't bad if your not in a hurry. The hwy is on the north side. Stop at Robert Moses State Park an see the locks. Take the ferry across Lake Champlain if you have the time.

X2 on a stop to see the big ocean going ships go through the Eisenhower lock near Robert Moses State Park.

On Heart Island just off the town Alexandria Bay is Boldt Castle - absolutely amazing what can be done when money is no object.

Have you found out how far it is from your starting point to your destination?  I grew up in NYS and think 2 days would not be long enough for a casual trip.
