Heading east in northern California
Am in Eureka Ca and are wanting to start heading east to catch 395 south. Any suggestions on which route? 44 or 50 across was what I was thinking.Am pulling a 37.5 5th wheel. Thanks

A nice stop is the Eagle Lake RV park, which is just north of Susanville. Its about 40 minutes out of your way, but worth it if you need an overnight in that area. The fishing is good as well. BTW, 44 from Redding is an easier pull then 36 from Red Bluff. I was on both roads this last weekend.
