Thanks for all the info. Being in the far right lane after the bridge was very good advice. Was able to drive straight into x-ray from that lane.
As posted above those booths, which I spent hours trying to figure out what they might be for, were empty.
We crossed today (Saturday) at around 1:00. Only spent about 20 minutes in line, but the search, xray and another search made it a one hour adventure.
Another note, the Texas booze tax, which only used to be a few cents has increased greatly. We paid $3.25 a bottle for the bottles of wine we brought into Texas.
Gracias again, we are very appreciative of this board and the clever people who hang out here.
