I-75 on the southside of Atlanta, Clayton/Henry Counies has been a parking lot recently. Had to jump over to US19/US341 going south on 12/26. Had to jump over to US 41 on 12/28 going north. If you are going through Georgia and do not need to go to Atlanta use US-27 down the westside of the state. Atlanta's traffic is getting worse. A lot of people on this board say they go thru with no problem are either lucky or talking from dated results. I am very familiar with the area, I live 45 miles from Atlanta. US 27 is a great highway with very little traffic. Get on/off just south of Chattanooga. It is a new 4 lane highway with lots of 65mph. Switch over to I-185 in LaGrange and go thru Columbus to Fort Benning. Just after Fort Benning you can go straight to Albany and get back on I-75 in Tifton (4 lane all the way also), or stay on US27 to Tallahassee.
