In my experience, there are FAR more loonies on 285.....at all hours of the day and night. And the volume of traffic is almost always heavier.
I won't comment on "tucking in behind a semi" except to say that I get a bit uncomfortable when the vehicle in front is closer than a quarter of a mile or so.....when I'm in the RV.
