What would you like Mexico to do? Present solutions, not just the negative side.
How many people receive good treatment from medical facilities both public and private in Mexico? I have a long list of breast cancer survivors, by-pass, knee replacements, cancer patients in general and those are from the public system. Then I also have a list of those that didn't fair well.
How many foreigners including full-time rvers are sponging off of the Mexican healthcare system?
Do a poll just from those that live in San Miguel de Allende, not to mention all the other havens for foreigners. They complain about Seguro Popular but there are facilitators who get them into the system practically for free by lying and cheating. Most of these foreigners are dead a-- broke and live in Mexico because their wonderful country's pension and healthcare plans are way too expensive. The numbers are increasing.
I'll be the first to admit that IMSS and Seguro Popular are not the best, but what are the alternatives? Private healthcare.
As one once said here on rv.net, "why are people always trying to throw Mexico under the bus". Let's not call the kettle black.
