Last summer, I rented a house in the country for about $100/night for a week. It was on five acres near Palmer, had everything I needed, including a washer and dryer and a resident moose. The price was for the whole house, no matter how many people and could have easily slept a half-dozen, even though it was just me.
Check out VRBO.com or Airbnb and see what you can find. There are tons of such rentals all over the state. Some of these places are booked way ahead, so don't procrastinate booking if you decide to go that route. Since I camped on the way up and back, it was like heaven having a place like that all to myself, very quiet. I was able to use it as a base camp for sightseeing and saved a lot because I could cook at home. It also allowed my two dogs.
