If you plan on fishing, early June is early for the first run of reds. May not get any salmon fishing. Trout fishing on the Kenai will be spectacular though and unless you've reeled in a rainbow the size of a salmon before, it may be the highlight of the trip!
I'm a little partial since I know the owner well, but Drifters Lodge in Cooper Landing is top notch. Owner was our landlord when we were in Eagle River. Great guy, good accommodations and great guides.
If you're going to camp, Cooper Lake up above Cooper landing is a nice locals spot to camp. Good bank fishing for dollies and its up out of town, not a campground.
Also never had bad luck fishing out of Seward for halibut either.
