Finding that this is the hardest part of RVing, figuring out where to go. You didn't say if you had kids to keep entertained, but here is a suggestion. Up state New York, Niagara Falls Lake Erie Coast, Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cedar Point and the points of interest in between.
Don't try to fit too much in and make the trip all driving. I live in the Pigeon Forge area and would suggest that as there is LOTS of things to do for all ages. Asheville and the Biltmore Estate is close and a do-able day trip from the area. Maggie Valley and Cherokee NC is close too. It really all depends on how you want to entertain yourselves.
