O.K. Continuation from Arches N.P. in Utah. I-70 east to I-25 north to I-90 east to Mount Rushmore during the first part of May.
Of course, there are many wonderful secondary roads to take to get you to the same place. It just depends on the weather at the time you're traveling. If it's toward the end of May you should be fine.
